  Gateway Shopping Center is one of the last bastions of small business owners with vision left in East Fort Lauderdale. Come here to find the funky, unique stores and restaurants (not so fast, Subway) such as Jezebel, Dwell, Tipico and others. This parcel is worth a fortune, sadly, we can't expect 5hem all to last forever so make a point of visiting while it remains in it's endangered condition. You'll love it.

  Minimal amount of parking on back of theater & restaurants. Il Molino is one of my favorite restaurants. Great food and service, with dim lighting & large wine selection. The theatre is clean and shows more international & independent films than other theaters, thank goodness.
