  My LG front-load washer stopped working so I called Broward Appliance Repair. Their guy came out, turned the machine on, didn't seem like he knew what he was doing, checked something in the back, then literally said that he didn't know what the problem was and that he would have to call LG. He said they would contact me once they got info from LG. After a $25 service charge and a week later... no call from them. I called them and was told that they're waiting to hear from LG. I called back the next day and told the same thing again, and was even told that their lines were busy so they couldn't spend 50 minutes on the phone waiting to get through to LG. The following day I received a voicemail saying their lines weren't too busy that day so they got through to LG. I was told the problem was that I needed a new motor and pump and that parts plus labor would run me $295. Called AAA/Century Appliance Repair (found them on the LG site and they are an authorized LG service center) and they came out today. This tech was really good at what he does, diagnosed the exact problem in less than 15 minutes (it was a sensor problem, the motor tested good), had the part available on his truck, and had the machine up and running in no time. So not only did Broward Appliance Repair not know what they were doing, they provided poor customer service, charged $25 for nothing, and almost had me buy and expensive part that I didn't need! I'm just so thankful that I found an authorized service center who actually knew what they were doing and didn't waste any more of my money with these guys.
